Job summary

M-Sport Limited, based at Dovenby Hall, Cumbria, is seeking an Engine Parts Assistant to join the busy Engine Department. You will assist with the preparation, organisation and delivery of engine components for high-performance builds and servicing, working closely with Engine Builders, Engineers, Stores and Quality Control.

We are looking for a self-motivated team player with attention to detail, strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in automotive or motorsport stock control or parts inventory.
• Genuine interest in mechanical engineering, engines or motorsport.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation, identification and organisation of engine components ready for engine builds and servicing activities.
• Ensure engine parts are correctly identified, stored and maintained, supporting accurate stock control and traceability.
• Ensure relevant paperwork, component records and documentation are completed accurately and maintained as required.
• Support regular stock checks and assist with maintaining accurate records of engine components and consumable items.
• Work closely with Stores, Purchasing, Quality Control, Engineering and other departments to ensure required components are available when needed.
• Support the Engine team in identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and working practices.
