Job summary

M-Sport UK, based at Dovenby Hall, Cumbria, seeks an Engine Parts Assistant to support preparation and delivery of high-performance engines. You will help with parts prep, stock control, documentation and cross-department collaboration to ensure components are available for builds and servicing.

The ideal candidate is detail‑focused, well organized and a team player with good communication and IT skills; motorsport stock-control experience is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Good organisation to manage parts, components and workloads.
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy technical team and support colleagues.
  • Understanding of accuracy, cleanliness and quality in high-performance engine components.
  • Strong verbal and written communication with technicians and engineers.

  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Assist preparation, identification and organisation of engine components for builds and servicing.
  • Ensure parts are identified, stored and maintained with accurate stock control and traceability.
  • Complete documentation and component records accurately.
  • Support stock checks and maintain records of engine components and consumables.
  • Collaborate with Stores, Purchasing, Quality Control, Engineering and other departments to ensure components are available.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and efficiency.

We are looking to recruit a motivated and organised Engine Parts Assistant to join our busy Engine Department at our Dovenby Hall headquarters.This is an exciting opportunity to play an important role in supporting the preparation and delivery of high-performance competition engines.
