Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electronics Rework Technician in Wellingborough for a 3-month temporary contract. You will join a busy electronics manufacturing environment, performing rework, SMT and through-hole soldering, and quality inspections to exacting standards.

The role uses microscopes, hot air rework equipment, and hand tools to prepare PCBs, reball BGAs, and ensure IPC standards compliance. Immediate start and full-time hours with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Experience with manual soldering of SMT and/or through-hole components.
• Background in electronics repair/rework or manufacturing environments.
• Experience using microscopes for inspection work.

Responsibilities

• Remove, replace and reflow BGA components using automated hot air equipment.
• Prepare surface mount land and rework PCB/ICs.
• Reball BGAs including solder sphere handling with automated equipment.
