Job summary

KLA SensArray in Newport, Wales, is seeking a manufacturing technician to perform precision soldering and assembly of semiconductor components under a microscope, following SOPs and engineering drawings.

You will conduct visual inspections, maintain records, and support continuous improvement while working Monday to Friday in a clean, controlled environment. This permanent role offers 25 days leave, pension, health plan and other benefits as part of a comprehensive rewards package.

Qualifications

• Pride in producing high-quality work with attention to detail.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and drawings.
• Comfortable performing repetitive precision tasks under a microscope.

Responsibilities

• Solder miniature electronic components under a microscope.
• Use tweezers and precision tools to place small parts.
• Apply conformal coating to protect assemblies.
• Carry out self-inspections and quality checks.
• Maintain accurate production records.
• Work as part of a team to deliver high-quality products.
