Job summary

KLA in Newport, Wales, is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Technician to inspect materials and finished products within a precision electronics manufacturing environment. You will ensure conformance to specifications across incoming, in-process, and final release stages.

The role emphasizes meticulous attention to detail, adherence to SOPs, and collaboration with Production, Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain to drive containment, NCRs and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronics manufacturing QC/QA.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience performing visual and dimensional inspections.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming quality inspections of materials and components.
• Conduct in-process quality checks across production lines.
• Complete outgoing quality inspection before shipment.
• Raise NCRs and support containment, root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement with quality data and trends.
