This role covers full build, from material prep and layout through testing, certification and packaging, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and company standards.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience assembling and wiring electrical control panels.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and layout drawings.
• Competent in cable preparation, crimping, termination and use of hand tools.
• Sound understanding of electrical safety and basic testing procedures.
• High attention to detail with pride in neat, methodical work.

Responsibilities

• Interpret GA drawings and wiring diagrams to build to specification.
• Prepare materials and identify each project correctly.
• Mark out, drill, fit trunking, DIN rails and mounting plates.
• Install relays, circuit breakers, PLCs, contactors, terminals.
• Wire, route and terminate cables with neat dress and segregation.
• Ensure workmanship, aesthetics and cable management.
• Label panels with serial numbers and manufacturer details.
• Package assemblies for collection or delivery.
• Support integration of panels into wider assemblies.
• Maintain housekeeping and follow Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental procedures.
• Complete check sheets, issue test certificates and support FATs where required.
