Job summary

Point Professional Recruitment LTD is recruiting for an experienced Cut & Crease Operator to join a well-established print and packaging company in Huntingdonshire. This is a permanent role in a busy production environment producing high-quality printed packaging to customer specifications.

The ideal candidate will have cutting, creasing or die-cutting experience, with the ability to work stably in a long-term position within print finishing.

Qualifications

• Experience in cut and crease or die-cutting in print/packaging.
• Ability to set machinery to job specifications accurately.
• Reliable and safety-conscious with good attention to detail.
• Experience working with cartonboard or printed materials.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate cut and crease machinery.
• Set cutting and creasing parameters for each job.
• Produce work to job specifications and production requirements.
• Carry out machine make-readies and adjustments.
• Check printed materials for quality, accuracy and consistency.
• Monitor machinery throughout production runs.
• Identify and resolve minor machine or production issues.
• Ensure production targets and deadlines are achieved.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Complete relevant production and quality documentation.
