Aviva plc is seeking an experienced Cut & Crease Operator in the Huntingdon area to join a busy production team. You will produce high-quality printed packaging products to customer specifications and work with colleagues across print and production departments.

The role requires previous cutting/creasing experience, accuracy in machine setup, and a commitment to quality and safety within a dynamic production environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Cut & Crease Operator or in a similar print finishing role.
• Experience operating cut and crease or die-cutting machinery.
• Experience in the print, packaging, carton or print finishing industry.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read job specifications and set machinery precisely.
• Reliable with a good attitude toward health & safety.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate cut and crease machinery.
• Set cutting and creasing parameters for each job.
• Produce work per specifications and production requirements.
• Carry out machine make-readies and adjustments.
• Check materials for quality, accuracy and consistency.
• Monitor machinery throughout runs and resolve minor issues.
• Meet production targets and deadlines, minimise waste.
• Complete relevant production and quality documentation.
• Perform routine machine checks and basic maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and collaborate with teams.
