Job summary

Kingdom Services Group Ltd. is seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join its precision engineering operation. The role covers programming, setting and operating CNC lathes to manufacture high-precision components to exact specs.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with engineers and production teams to ensure products are produced efficiently and to the highest standards. Strong attention to detail and GD&T literacy are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience programming, setting and operating CNC lathes.
• Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls.
• Experience in a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Programme, set and operate CNC Fanuc and/or Mazak lathes.
• Write and optimise CNC programs from engineering drawings and specifications.
• Set up machines including tooling, fixtures and raw materials.
• Prove out new programs and ensure successful machine operation.
• Manufacture precision components to tight tolerances.
• Carry out in-process inspection using precision measuring equipment.
• Troubleshoot machining and programming issues.
• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
• Work closely with engineers and machinists to resolve production challenges.
• Carry out routine machine maintenance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality procedures.
