Job summary

Manpower UK is seeking an experienced CNC Setter Operator in Coventry to join a leading aerospace manufacturing environment. You will set up and operate multi-axis CNC turning centres, producing precision components to exacting standards.

Role involves machine setup, changeovers, inspection, and continuous improvement within a high-performing production team, with adherence to quality and safety requirements. Night shifts and uplift are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience setting and operating multi-axis CNC machines.
• Experience in precision engineering or aerospace manufacturing.
• Apprenticeship trained or qualified machinist/engineer.
• Able to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and tooling offsets.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate multi-axis CNC turning centres safely and efficiently.
• Perform machine changeovers and setup activities.
• Produce components to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Carry out in-process inspection using appropriate measuring equipment.
• Record measurements and process data in line with company procedures.
