Job summary

Pertemps Black Country Perms is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer / Setter for a permanent on-site role in Wednesbury. You will program, set and operate CNC machinery, proving out new programs and optimising processes to enhance efficiency.

The position supports a dedicated production team in a stable manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' CNC programming experience, with CNC Milling and/or Turning expertise and a solid understanding of engineering drawings

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years' CNC programming experience.
Experience in CNC Milling and/or CNC Turning (Lathe).
Strong machining and manufacturing background.

Responsibilities

Program, set and operate CNC machinery.
Prove out new programs and make adjustments where required.
Optimise machining processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
Work with FANUC, HURCO or similar CNC control systems.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Manufacture precision components to tight tolerances.
Carry out quality inspections to ensure components meet required standards.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment.
Work closely with production and engineering teams to achieve production targets.
