Job summary

Pertemps Black Country Perms Dudley, West Midlands, is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter to join a growing aerospace manufacturer. You'll program, set, and optimise CNC machines to produce high-precision components, with training provided on CAD/CAM tools.

This days-based role offers a Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:15pm and Friday early finish, with overtime opportunities and a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a CNC Programmer/Setter.
• Strong working knowledge of Fanuc controls.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience working to tight tolerances within a precision engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and optimise CNC programs for precision aerospace components
• Set and operate Fanuc-controlled CNC machinery
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Program and set CNC lathes and machining centres using CAD/CAM software (training provided)
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce cycle times, and increase efficiency
• Ensure all work meets aerospace quality standards and tolerances
• Support production requirements while maintaining high levels of accuracy and consistency
