Job summary

Orion Electrotech Ltd. is seeking an experienced CNC Operator to join a busy precision engineering business. The role focuses on running machines, maintaining standards and ensuring production keeps moving efficiently in a modern workshop.

You will work alongside skilled setters and programmers, performing measurements and inspections with micrometers and verniers and reading engineering drawings to ensure high-quality components.

Qualifications

• Experience as a CNC Operator or CNC Machine Operator
• Manufacturing or engineering background
• Ability to work from technical drawings
• Experience carrying out measurements and inspections
• Strong attention to detail
• Team-focused attitude

Responsibilities

• Operating CNC machines safely and effectively
• Loading and unloading components
• Running production batches
• Conducting routine quality inspections
• Using measuring equipment including micrometers and verniers
• Reading and working from engineering drawings
• Recording inspection results
• Supporting production across multiple machines where required
