Job summary

Orion Electrotech is seeking a CNC Operator in Rainham, Essex, to join a growing precision engineering manufacturer. You will contribute to the production of precision components in a busy environment, with full training provided for the right candidate.

We welcome experienced CNC Operators and also individuals with general machine operating, manufacturing or engineering backgrounds who want a long-term career in engineering.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC machinery or equivalent manufacturing processes.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Willingness to learn and progress in engineering/manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machinery in a busy manufacturing environment.
• Monitor machine performance and production output.
• Carry out quality checks and measurements.
• Perform basic machine adjustments and tool changes.
• Ensure components meet specification.
• Follow production and quality procedures.
• Support continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain a safe and organised workplace.
