Job summary

Contek Recruitment Solutions Ltd in Tyseley, United Kingdom, is seeking a skilled CNC Grinder to join our precision manufacturing team. You will set up, program (G-code or conversational software), and operate CNC grinding equipment to produce ultra-tight tolerance components from advanced materials.

The role requires 2–4 years of hands-on experience, reading blueprints, using micrometers and other inspection tools, and maintaining tooling.

Qualifications

2–4 years hands-on CNC grinding experience in precision manufacturing.
Proficient in reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools.
Able to troubleshoot tooling, setup, or programming challenges.
High school diploma; technical certification a plus.

Responsibilities

Set up, program and operate CNC grinding machines to machine advanced materials.
Use micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and optical comparators to verify dimensions.
Monitor processes, adjust offsets, and inspect finished parts for quality and surface finish.
Select, dress, and maintain grinding wheels and tooling.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T specifications.
Troubleshoot issues and improve production workflows.
