Job summary

Inside Right in Wolverhampton seeks an apprentice-trained, experienced Manual/CNC Grinder to join an aerospace-focused manufacturer. The role involves setting and operating manual cylindrical machines (S20/RM250) and CNC (Studer S33/S31) to grind exotic and hardened materials, with responsibility for first-off inspection and quality documentation.

Working pattern includes early/late shifts and overtime; candidate must be self-certified and hold BPSS clearance after qualifying period.

Qualifications

• Recognised engineering apprenticeship completed.
• Cylindrical grinding experience essential.
• Mate grinding experience preferred.
• Previous experience within aerospace manufacturing is advantageous.
• Solid knowledge of machining techniques and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Experience in Setting, Operating Manual Cylindrical machines S20/RM250 and Setting CNC ( Preferably Studer S33/S31).
• Capability of machining exotic and hardened materials.
• Carry out own 1st off inspection and document quality records.
• Precision manual cylindrical grinding and maintaining tolerances to drawing specs.
• Able to set and run multiple machines/processes.
