Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role as a Bodyshop Technician / Prepper.
• Full valid UK driving licence (essential)
• For insurance, you must be over 21 and hold a licence for at least 2 years.
• Willing to support junior techs and offer expertise when needed.
• You will be passionate about the motor industry and take pride in high standards of work.

Responsibilities

• Preparing vehicles for paint - masking, sanding, priming panels.
• Ensuring that there are no defects on the prepared panels.
• Working on a range of vehicles from small cars to light commercial vehicles.
• To work within standards and processes to produce a high-quality cost-effective product.
• Supporting bodyshop team within other departments if required.
• To check all work prior to starting to ensure repairs meet the required standard.
• To ensure all parts requisitions are completed accurately.
• To ensure all work is completed within the time allotted.
• To develop and maintain professional and positive relationships with colleagues.
