Job summary

Teledyne UK in Lincoln is seeking an Assembly and Test Technician to manufacture energetic initiation and safety systems and assemblies. You will support product development, qualification and NPI while applying precision manufacturing in a regulated environment.

The role requires electronics assembly expertise, fault finding and strong attention to detail, with a pathway to impact across engineering and production teams in a high-reliability setting.

Qualifications

• Be eligible to undergo UK Government DV security clearance.
• Hold electronics engineering qualification or demonstrable manufacturing experience.
• Experience in manufacture, assembly and testing of precision components for safety-critical applications.
• Familiar with NDT methods and standard certification schemes.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture energetic initiation and safety systems and assemblies.
• Support engineering Product Development, Process Qualification and NPI.
• Maintain manufacturable, cost-efficient designs and provide feedback on manufacturability.
• Ensure activities comply with procedures, regulatory requirements and quality systems.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery and productivity.
