Job summary

Teledyne Energetics UK in Lincoln seeks a Development Technician to manufacture engineering prototypes and support verification modules for safety and initiation systems. You will work with the engineering team to ensure robust, manufacturable designs and maintain build folders.

You will monitor delivery, control costs, manage stock, and contribute to new product introductions, applying strong problem solving and IT skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Qualifed in electronics engineering at ONC level or above.
• Experience in testing and manufacture of electronic modules for aerospace/Defence.
• Experience with electronics assembly and soldering processes.
• Good problem solving and initiative.
• IT literate with MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture engineering prototypes and verification/qualification modules.
• Support manufacturability feedback for development hardware.
• Maintain product build folders and documentation.
• Monitor on-time delivery to plan within quality targets.
• Control costs and manage stock, shortages and scrap.
• Promote teamwork and contribute to cost-effective designs.
