Job summary

Teledyne Energetics UK seeks a Development Technician to work on a range of electronics development projects. You will manufacture engineering prototypes and support verification and qualification of electronic safety modules within a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires hands-on work, feedback on manufacturability, and proactive participation in New Product Introduction processes, with a focus on cost-effective, reliable designs for aerospace and defence applications.

Qualifications

• Qualified in electronics engineering to ONC level or above.
• Experience in testing and manufacture of electronic modules for aerospace/Defence markets.
• Expertise in a wide range of manufacturing processes including electronic assembly and soldering.
• Able to problem solve and apply manufacturing knowledge to new developments.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture engineering prototypes and verification/qualification modules.
• Provide feedback on manufacturability of development hardware and maintain product build folders.
• Monitor on-time delivery to plan and control costs within hours.
• Promote teamwork and contribute to cost-effective designs and development programmes.
