Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an Assembly Technician for an immediate start in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. This permanent, full-time role runs Monday to Thursday from 06:00 to 16:00 and includes on-site parking with regular overtime at enhanced rates.

The successful candidate will assemble mechanical and electrical components from technical drawings, use hand and power tools, and maintain a safe, tidy workspace in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with hand & power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good time management and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and willingness to stay productive.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components for engines with precision and attention to detail.
• Assemble electrical components and wiring as part of engine assemblies.
• Confidently use hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
• Interpret and work from technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly.
• Maintain a safe, organised, and clean working environment at all times.
