Job summary

Pertemps is seeking a mechanical Final Assembly Technician in Crawley to build, test and prepare high-spec machinery for international shipment. You will assemble components to precise drawings and verify quality before handover to field engineers.

The role is full-time and on-site with standard day hours; training is provided, along with pension and life cover benefits, plus on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Must have strong mechanical aptitude and be comfortable with workshop tools.
• Ability to read engineering drawings or follow detailed assembly instructions.
• High attention to detail to prevent delays for engineers on site.
• Willingness to learn and complete equipment training.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test mechanical assemblies to drawings and tolerances.
• Conduct mechanical quality checks before sign-off.
• Dismantle and pack units for international field engineers.
• Work safely using standard hand, bench, and power tools.
