Job summary

CMR Surgical Ltd. is seeking a manufacturing technician at our Ely site to assemble and test the Versius surgical robotic system. You will perform electronics, test, and precision mechanical assembly, following predefined instructions and quality standards.

The role involves precise handling of electromechanical components, maintaining manufacturing records, and contributing to a compliant, efficient production environment. Prior experience in regulated settings is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with fine manual assembly.
• Ability to maintain accurate records in line with cGMP.
• Experience with cable assembly and crimp tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble / test / commission electro-mechanical assemblies per instructions.
• Precisely assemble small components to defined torque and quality standards; record results.
• Complete manufacturing records and travellers; identify and escalate non-conformances.
• Work with controlled work instructions, SOPs and quality systems.
• Basic fault-finding using defined test procedures; support root-cause investigations.
