Hewett Recruitment is seeking a skilled CNC Grinder for a Worcester based manufacturing business. You will set and operate CNC cylindrical and universal grinders, ensuring high-tolerance components meet strict specs.

Working within a busy engineering team, you will interpret drawings, programme Fanuc controls, perform quality checks and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience setting and operating CNC grinding machinery.
• Strong understanding of cylindrical and universal grinding processes.
• Knowledge of Fanuc CNC controls.
• Ability to work from engineering drawings and specifications.
• Previous experience within a busy manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC cylindrical and universal grinding machines.
• Manufacture high-precision components to exacting quality standards.
• Edit and optimise CNC programmes using Fanuc controls.
• Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Carry out quality checks using precision measuring equipment.
• Support continuous improvement and health & safety initiatives across the machine shop.
