An established industry player in healthcare is seeking newly qualified midwives for its preceptorship program. This role offers 9 weeks of supernumerary experience across three ward areas, ensuring comprehensive support as you transition into your midwifery career. This opportunity is for 3rd year students due to qualify in September 2025
We have positions open on our fully supportive preceptorship programme where you will be supported to work in the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal areas.

UHNM's midwifery preceptorship offers a total of 9 weeks supernumerary over 12 months and 3 ward areas. You will be allocated a preceptor who will support you through your first year in midwifery alongside the preceptorship lead who can develop you with an bespoke package.
All newly qualified midwives will be appointed at mid point band 5 on the agenda for change pay scale. An increase of over £2,000 from the entry level.

You will be supported to develop from a Band 5 to a band 6 midwife, working in antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal areas.
