An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our therapy team, supporting patient transport across community bed bases in Bolton.
The primary responsibility is driving the therapy van to facilitate patient discharges, with additional therapy assistant duties as required. The role involves working a 7-day roster.
We prioritize staff wellbeing and training, offering professional development opportunities and regular supervision to support your growth and wellbeing.
Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will support therapy staff by transporting patients to and from various destinations, including hospitals, bedded units, and homes.
You will assist patients with access and undertake therapy assistant tasks under supervision, along with related administrative duties.
The Integrated Community Services Division aims to reduce hospital visits by providing community-based health and social care, including therapy and reablement services to promote independence. We employ over 1000 staff delivering more than 40 services, such as IV therapy, diabetes management, and support for vulnerable populations.
