Job summary

Autodesk is seeking a technical expert to engage with customers, understand their needs, and illustrate ROI using Autodesk solutions. The role involves coordinating resources, delivering technical presentations, and helping shape strategic technical roadmaps.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Autodesk products, manufacturing industry experience, and excellent English communication and storytelling abilities. Some travel within the UK and ROI is expected.

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge of Autodesk products such as AutoCAD, Inventor, Fusion, Vault or Fusion Manage.
• Knowledge of manufacturing technology solutions from other vendors will be considered.
• Knowledge of manufacturing industry processes, workflows and technology trends.
• Knowledge of product data, document or lifecycle management concepts.
• Knowledge of Enterprise IT concepts is desirable.
• Experience in the UK Manufacturing Industry but must be flexible to adapt to serve customers in multiple industries.
• Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
• Excellent presentation and storytelling skills through a variety of mediums.

Responsibilities

• Discover customer needs and provide Autodesk solution advice and ROI illustrations aligned to them.
• Build trust and credibility with customers to support the development of strategic technical roadmaps.
• Deliver technical presentations at customer-facing events, meetings and webinars.
• Coordinate technical resources from extended teams.
• Collaborate with sales executives to identify potential for revenue growth.
• Provide feedback to Product teams to improve Autodesk solutions.
• Develop technical content for use in pre-sales activities and sales automation.
• Promote Autodesk solutions and build an industry profile as a recognised technical expert.
