Job summary
SHI UK is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join the pre-sales team, partnering with account executives to identify, qualify, and progress opportunities across networking, cybersecurity, data centre, cloud, and AI. You will design outcome-led solutions and support the full opportunity lifecycle, leveraging broad technical knowledge across multiple technology domains.

- Experience in pre-sales engagements with customers across multiple domains.
- Ability to design integrated, outcome-led solutions spanning networking, security, data centre, cloud and AI.
- Strong presentation and communication skills for diverse technical and business audiences.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives to identify, qualify, and progress customer opportunities.
- Engage customers to understand business drivers, challenges, and transformation priorities across domains.
- Design and articulate integrated, multi-domain solutions that align with business outcomes.
- Support the full pre-sales lifecycle: discovery, design, proposals, and demonstrations.
- Act as a technical advisor to align solutions with needs, risk, and budget.
- Collaborate with services, delivery, and partners to ensure feasible and scalable solutions.
- Build relationships with technology partners and vendors.
