Job summary

Fortinet, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer to support Financial Services & Insurance customers across the UK.

You will lead technical engagements from discovery to deployment, translating business needs into scalable Fortinet architectures and delivering compelling demonstrations. You’ll collaborate with sales, partners and internal teams while maintaining expert knowledge of Fortinet’s security portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience in pre-sales engineering, technical consulting, or customer-facing technical roles.
• Experience with Financial Services or Insurance clients or regulated enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity: Network Security, SASE, SD-WAN, Zero Trust, SOC tech, Cloud Security, Secure Access.
• Experience designing solutions for complex enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with stakeholders at all levels.
• Collaborative mindset with ability to build long-term customer relationships.
• Industry certifications such as NSE, CISSP, CCNP or equivalent are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical engagements across the sales lifecycle: discovery workshops, solution design, presentations, proofs-of-concept.
• Translate customer requirements into scalable Fortinet architectures.
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations and architecture workshops.
• Collaborate with customers, channel partners, and internal teams on security strategy.
• Maintain deep Fortinet portfolio knowledge and cybersecurity trends relevant to FSI.
• Support RFI/RFP responses and maintain technical documentation in Salesforce.
• Act as a trusted advisor and mentor to colleagues and partners.
