Job summary

Fortinet is seeking a customer-focused Systems Engineer to support the UK Service Provider market, partnering with sales teams to design, position and demonstrate cybersecurity solutions across large-scale environments.

The role covers discovery to PoCs, multi-tenant architectures, cloud security, SASE and SD-WAN, requiring strong communication and a collaborative mindset to deliver carrier-grade security solutions to telecommunications providers.

Qualifications

• Experience in a pre-sales engineering, technical consulting or customer-facing technical role.
• Experience supporting telecommunications service providers, network operators or large-scale service provider environments.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity technologies including Network Security, SASE, SD-WAN, Zero Trust, SOC technologies and Cloud Security.
• Understanding of carrier-grade networking, multi-tenant architectures, MPLS/IP networking and managed security services is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborative mindset with ability to build trusted customer and internal relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical engagements across the sales lifecycle, including discovery, solution design, presentations and PoCs.
• Partner with service providers and network operators to translate requirements into Fortinet solutions.
• Design scalable, carrier-grade security architectures across networking, cloud and security environments.
• Deliver product demonstrations, architecture workshops and whiteboarding sessions for varied audiences.
• Work with customers, account teams and Fortinet specialists to ensure successful delivery.
• Maintain deep expertise across Fortinet's portfolio and industry trends.
