Job summary

Fortinet is seeking a Systems Engineer to support UK Financial Services & Insurance customers, acting as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle. You will design solutions, deliver product demonstrations, and collaborate with account teams to address regulatory and security challenges across hybrid environments.

The role requires UK-base and right-to-work, with strong communication skills and experience in complex enterprise security architectures.

Qualifications

• Experience in a pre-sales engineering, technical consulting, or customer-facing technical role.
• Experience working with Financial Services or Insurance customers, or other highly regulated enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity technologies including Network Security, SASE, SD-WAN, Zero Trust, SOC technologies, Cloud Security, and Secure Access.
• Experience designing solutions for complex enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical teams and senior business stakeholders.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to build trusted long-term customer relationships.
• Industry certifications such as NSE, CISSP, CCNP or equivalent are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical engagements across the sales lifecycle, including discovery workshops, solution design, presentations, and proof-of-concepts.
• Translate customer business and technical requirements into scalable Fortinet architectures.
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations, architecture workshops, and executive-level whiteboarding sessions.
• Partner closely with customers, channel partners, and internal teams to develop security strategies aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain deep expertise across Fortinet's portfolio, cybersecurity trends, emerging threats, and technologies relevant to the FSI sector.
• Support RFI/RFP responses and maintain accurate technical documentation within Salesforce.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor and mentor to colleagues and partners.
