Job Description
NECSWS has an excellent opportunity for a Presales professional, with specific knowledge of the Public Safety sector, covering Police, Fire, Ambulance, or Transport.
An essential requirement is experience in product demonstrations and tender responses.
Main responsibilities:
- Assist the sales team with bid responses, collaborating with product, development, and portfolio teams.
- Configure, build, and demonstrate NEC Safety products.
- Interpret customer demonstration scenarios to design product configurations.
- Demonstrate the NEC Safety portfolio's overview and detailed functionalities for new business and account management presentations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on product questions during the sales process.
- Understand associated Safety products like control rooms, operational policing, evidence management, biometrics, and managed services.
- Roles available for junior and senior pre-sales, with senior roles handling major bids over £20m.
Qualifications:
- Presales experience or proven presentation skills, gained in private or public sectors.
- Knowledge of the Safety business arena.
- Experience with Control Rooms, Operational Policing, Evidence Management, Data Analytics, or Managed Services.
Ideally, you will have:
- Knowledge of the Public Safety market.
- Experience with customer requirements in the Public Safety sector.
- Government security clearance.
- Understanding of government and safety environments.
- Market competition awareness.
- Ability to interact with high-level managers and officers.
- Focus on customer retention and satisfaction.
- Ability to deliver complex demonstrations under deadlines.
- Support for proposal preparations and post-demonstration follow-up.
- Ambassadorship for NEC capabilities.
