Job Description:

NECSWS has an excellent opportunity for a Presales professional with specific knowledge of the Public Safety sector, covering Police, Fire, Ambulance, or Transport.

The role involves product demonstrations, tender responses, and supporting sales with technical expertise in NEC Safety products.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assist sales with bid responses, working with product, development, and portfolio teams.
• Configure, build, and demonstrate NEC Safety products.
• Design product configurations for customer demonstrations based on scenarios.
• Demonstrate NEC Safety portfolio features to support new business and account management.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on product questions during the sales process.
• Understand related Safety products such as control rooms, policing, evidence management, biometrics, and managed services.
• Senior roles will handle major bids over £20m involving infrastructure, applications, and services.

Qualifications:

• Presales experience or proven presentation skills, preferably in the private or public sector.
• Knowledge of the Safety business domain.
• Experience with Control Rooms, Operational Policing, Evidence Management/Data Analytics, or Managed Services.

Ideally, you will have:

• Knowledge of the Public Safety market.
• Understanding of customer requirements in Public Safety.
• Government security clearance.
• Understanding of government and safety environment drivers.
• Market awareness and competitive analysis skills.
• Ability to interact with high-level managers and officers.
• Customer retention focus and high customer satisfaction drive.
• Adaptability for different demonstration scenarios and deadlines.
• Supportive skills for proposals and post-demo follow-ups.
• Ambassadorial role for NEC capabilities.
