Job Description

NECSWS has an excellent opportunity for a Presales professional, specifically with knowledge of the Public Safety sector, including Police, Fire, Ambulance, or Transport.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting the sales team with bid responses, working with product, development, and portfolio teams.
• Configuring, building, and demonstrating NEC Safety products.
• Interpreting demonstration scenarios to design product configurations.
• Demonstrating NEC Safety portfolio functionalities for new business and account management.
• Serving as a subject matter expert on product questions during the sales process.
• Understanding Safety product offerings such as control rooms, policing, evidence management, biometrics, and managed services.

Qualifications include:

• Experience in presales or presentation capabilities, preferably in the private sector with public sector clients.
• Knowledge of the Safety business arena.
• Experience with Control Rooms, Operational Policing, Evidence Management/Data Analytics, or Managed Services.

Ideally, candidates will have:

• Knowledge of the Public Safety market.
• Experience in the Public Safety sector.
• Government security clearance.
• Understanding of government and safety environments.
• Market competition awareness.
• Ability to interact with high-level managers and officers.
• Customer retention and satisfaction focus.
• Adaptability for different demonstration situations.
• Support skills for proposals and post-demo follow-up.
• Ambassadorship for NEC capabilities.

• Strong written skills for bid responses.
