Overview

NECSWS seeks a Presales professional with expertise in the Public Safety sector, including Police, Fire, Ambulance, or Transport. Experience in product demonstrations and tender responses is essential.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist sales with bid responses, collaborating with product, development, and portfolio teams.
  • Configure, build, and demonstrate NEC Safety products.
  • Interpret customer demonstration scenarios to design product configurations.
  • Demonstrate NEC Safety portfolio functionalities to support sales and account management.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on product questions during the sales process.
  • Understand associated Safety products like control rooms, policing, evidence management, biometrics, and managed services.
  • Senior roles involve working on major bids over £20m involving infrastructure, applications, and services.

Qualifications:

  • Presales experience or proven presentation skills, preferably in private or public sectors.
  • Knowledge of the Safety business domain.
  • Experience with Control Rooms, Operational Policing, Evidence Management/Data Analytics, or Managed Services.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Knowledge of the Public Safety market and customer requirements.
  • Security clearance (government level).
  • Understanding of government and safety environments and market competition.
  • Ability to interact with high-level managers and officers.
  • Focus on customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Ability to deliver complex demonstrations under tight deadlines.
  • Supportive skills for proposal writing and post-demo follow-ups.
  • Represent NEC capabilities internally and externally.

  • Self-reliant team player.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and written skills.
  • Relationship-building abilities.
  • Effective time management and resource planning.
  • Willingness and ability to travel, holding a valid UK/EC driving license.
