SCG Corporate is seeking a Pre-Sales Consultant in a hybrid role based near Basingstoke. You will work three days in the office and two days from home, earning £35,000–£40,000 plus OTE. The role focuses on tailoring Managed IT and Cybersecurity solutions, acting as a trusted advisor to drive revenue and ensure secure, scalable IT environments.

You will lead technical consultations, design solutions, present products, and prepare commercial propositions to meet client budgets and compliance needs.

Pre-Sales Consultant

Location: Basingstoke

Salary: £35,000 - 40,000 + OTE

The Pre-Sales Consultant will support the group with both customer and prospect opportunities by delivering tailored Managed IT and Cybersecurity solutions that address business challenges and compliance needs.

You will act as a trusted advisor, leverage deep technical understanding and market insight to drive revenue growth and support the delivery of secure, scalable, and resilient IT environments.

Responsibilities:

Technical Consultation Both internal and external (customer facing) technical consultation

Solution Design Solution design based on customer requirements, constraints, feasibility and budgets.

Market and Product Feedback Internal feedback on competitor solutions and pricing in the market.

Product Demonstrations and Presentations - Ability to present and demonstrate the company products, services and solutions.

Commercial Proposal Create a commercial proposition for the solution, tailored to the customer.
