De La Rue plc is seeking a Pre-Press Operator for our site in Loughton, Essex. You will support operations by ensuring smooth running of the Pre-Press area, reporting to the Supply Chain & Pre-Press Manager. Role demands expertise across at least two Pre-Press activities and strong adherence to safety and security standards.

The position operates a 24/5 shift pattern with three 12-hour shifts. Starting salary is £42,965 with progression to £45,576 after 6 months.

Qualificações

• Understanding of printing processes and security procedures.
• COSHH and hazardous substances knowledge.
• Health, Safety and Environmental requirements knowledge.
• IMS procedures and continuous improvement understanding.

Responsabilidades

• Specialise in a minimum of two Pre-Press activities listed.
• Operate ink-mixing and weighing equipment; manage stock and Sage entries.
• Prepare and coat wiping rollers; operate lathe; monitor stock with suppliers.
• Filtration plant: produce/monitor solutions; manage waste; safety handling of chemicals.
• Maintain numbering boxes; ensure barrels and materials available for production.
• Kiln room: manufacture covert materials per SOPs and security procedures.
