Job summary

Reelvision Print Limited in Lancashire is seeking a dedicated Pre-Press & Print Operator to join our production team. The role covers both pre-press setup and print operation, with responsibilities across plate work, ink mixing, cylinder setup and quality checks.

We operate a double day shift pattern with alternate shifts weekly, offering the opportunity to contribute to meeting schedules and maintain high print standards within a busy manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand the job schedule.
• Plate issue and checking.
• Plate mounting.
• Ink mixing.
• Forme and counter selection.
• Board allocation.
• Plate cleaning and return to store.
• Understand and complete all Q.C. documentation.
• Operate forklift (grab) and reach truck (If Qualified).
• Load anilox
• Load ink font
• Load board
• Load and set print cylinder
• Set up auto register
• Set up cutting forme
• Understand and use the Work Instructions (Job bag)
• Use of Densitometer
• Selection of anilox and colour strength
• Understand and complete Pass Sheet / QMC / all Q.C. documentation
• Maintain output according to the schedule.
• Assist the Pre-press & Print Manager with training of new personnel
• Maintain and clean print machine
• Weekly factory cleaning, to the schedule
