Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking a Bid Manager with Pre-Construction and estimating experience in Social Housing. You will drive tenders from initial enquiry to contract award, coordinating with Commercial, Estimating, Operations and SHEQ teams.

You will plan delivery strategies, schedule programmes, manage resources, build relationships with clients and supply chain partners, and identify risks to ensure viable tenders.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Pre-Construction, Bid Management or a similar role within construction or Social Housing.
• Knowledge of Social Housing refurbishment, planned maintenance, retrofit and decarbonisation.
• Strong commercial awareness and experience managing tender processes.
• Ideally come from an Estimating background.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Managing tender submissions and ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Working closely with the Commercial, Estimating, Operations and SHEQ teams to develop project proposals.
• Planning delivery strategies, programmes, logistics and resource requirements for upcoming schemes.
• Building relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.
• Identifying project risks and opportunities to ensure tenders are commercially viable and meet client requirements.
• Supporting the handover and mobilisation of contracts to the operational teams.
• Attending client meetings, presentations and tender interviews.
