Fawkes & Reece London seeks a capable Assistant Preconstruction Manager/Preconstruction Manager to join their team in the East Midlands. You will collaborate with estimating, commercial, planning, engineering and operations to develop competitive tenders and practical construction solutions.

The role covers preconstruction activities from tender enquiry to contract award and handover to delivery teams, with a focus on delivering value and smooth transition to delivery.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in civil engineering, infrastructure, highways or earthworks.
• Experience in preconstruction, project engineering, site engineering or site agent roles.
• Strong technical understanding of civil construction methods.
• Excellent communication and ability to collaborate across teams.
• Willing to move from site to office-based preconstruction path.

Aufgaben

• Manage and support preconstruction across civil projects.
• Review tender documentation to develop competitive proposals.
• Identify risks, opportunities and value engineering during tendering.
• Develop construction programmes, logistics strategies and method statements.
• Ensure smooth transition to delivery teams after contract award.
• Develop a win strategy.
