Pre-Construction Manager - Tier 1

A Tier 1 building contractor is recruiting a Pre-Construction Manager / Senior Bid Manager to join their growing East Midlands division. This is an excellent opportunity to join an award-winning contractor with a track record delivering projects across education, healthcare, MoJ, and MoD frameworks.

The Pre-Construction Manager / Senior Bid Manager will take a lead role managing projects from the PQQ stage through to commencement on site.

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar role with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor
• Experience developing and executing a winning bid strategy
• Experienced in bid writing and editing
• Excellent communication skills

Key Duties:

• Lead the pre-construction team in the East Midlands
• Work closely with the estimating team to ensure bids are submitted on time
• Liaise with the design team during the pre-construction stage
• Lead on tenders with the client and project teams
• Manage the tender bid settlement process
• Report to the Pre-Construction Director

Package Info:

• Basic Salary of £75,000 - £85,000 (Negotiable DOE)

To qualify for the higher rate of pay, you must be able to demonstrate a track record working as a Pre-Construction Manager / Senior Bid Manager with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 construction main contractor.
