Job summary

Crewe Alexandra Football Club is seeking a dedicated Pre-Academy coach to deliver age-appropriate coaching for U6, U7 and U8 players in line with the Club's playing philosophy. You will work with the Lead Pre-Academy Coach to ensure consistency, while observing players for development and providing constructive feedback to players and parents.

The role requires UEFA B, FA Youth Award, safeguarding, DBS clearance and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, with driving licence

Qualifications

• UEFA B is required.
• FA Youth Award is required.
• FA Safeguarding Certificate is required.
• FA DBS Check is required.
• Able to be flexible with evenings and weekends.
• Driving Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality coaching sessions for U6, U7 & U8 players.
• Coach Monday evenings and Friday games.
• Lead or support small-sided games and festivals.
• Use player-centred coaching focusing on creativity and decision-making.
• Observe and provide feedback to players and parents.
• Collaborate with Lead Pre-Academy Coach for consistency.
• Monitor player development and report progress.
• Liaise with Academy Recruitment about progress of players.
