Job summary

Derby County Football Club is seeking a Part Time Pre-Academy Coach to join the Academy Coaching Team at Moor Farm Training Centre. You will design and deliver coaching sessions, assess player progress, and support recruitment within the Pre-Academy.

The role requires FA Level 2, FA Youth Award, FA Emergency Aid, and FA Safeguarding certificates, with strong communication and presentation skills. Commitment to safeguarding and development is essential.

Qualifications

• FA Level 2 Coaching Certificate is essential.
• FA Youth Award is essential.
• FA Emergency Aid Certificate is essential.
• FA Safeguarding Children Certificate is essential.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging Pre-Academy coaching sessions.
• Evaluate players and sessions on a regular basis.
• Coach players across Pre-Academy age groups.
• Engage with parents/carers to foster a welcoming environment.
• Attend CPD and Coach Competency Framework activities.
• Be a positive role model for players.
