Qualifications

  • Professional qualification in Psychology (Masters or Doctorate level preferred).
  • Experience working with children and young people with intellectual disabilities.
  • Registered with the HCPC.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Practitioner Psychologist

Location: Regional Role working across Barton School, Bradford Beacon School & Armley Grange School.

Salary: Up to £65,000 (DOE) plus £5000 Welcome Bonus (payable as one payment of £2,500 after one month and another of £2,500 upon completing probation). T&Cs apply.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm

Contract: Permanent, 52 weeks

Essential: Full valid UK driving license and access to own vehicle

We are looking for an experienced Practitioner Psychologist to work in a key role for our service. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact by delivering assessment and intervention plans for our pupils, contributing to staff training, consultation, and reflective practice.

Our Clinical Team supports a nurturing environment where pupils can flourish, with a strong safeguarding culture. We aim to build futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Professional qualification in Psychology (Masters or Doctorate level preferred)
  • Experience working with children and young people with intellectual disabilities and/or autism, including complex trauma, mental health needs, and behaviors of concern
  • Registered with the HCPC
  • Additional leadership and management qualifications are advantageous
