Responsibilities

  • Deliver assessment and intervention plans for pupils.
  • Contribute to staff training, consultation, and reflective practice.
  • Manage a caseload with support from the Clinical Team.

Job Title: Practitioner Psychologist

Location: Regional Role working across Barton School, Bradford Beacon School & Armley Grange School.

Salary: Up to £65,000 (DOE) plus £5000 Welcome Bonus (paid as £2,500 after one month and £2,500 after probation). T&Cs apply.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm

Contract: Permanent, 52 weeks

Essential: Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle

We are looking for an outstanding and experienced Practitioner Psychologist to work in a key role for our service. This is a wide and varied role ideal for those looking for a new challenge where you can truly have an impact on shaping a service and driving change.

About the role:

We are expanding our clinical service during a time of growth. The Practitioner Psychologist will work collaboratively to deliver assessment and intervention plans for our pupils, contributing to staff training, consultation, and reflective practice. The role involves managing a caseload with the support of our Clinical Team, making decisions, and managing workload.

Our Clinical Team supports a nurturing environment where pupils can flourish, with a strong safeguarding culture. We aim to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Professional qualification in Psychology (Masters and/or Doctorate level).
  • Experience working with children and young people with intellectual disabilities and/or autism, including additional needs such as trauma, mental health, or challenging behaviors.
  • Registered with HCPC.
  • Experience and qualifications in leadership and management (preferred).
