Job summary

ACT Training is seeking a Practitioner Development Manager to lead the development of teaching, learning and assessment practice across JGW+, Apprenticeships, Schools and Commercial provision in Cardiff. You will design and deliver practitioner training, provide coaching and developmental support, and use data to drive improvement.

The role requires strong collaboration with delivery teams and a commitment to quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience of coaching, mentoring and developing others to improve professional practice.
• Experience of designing and delivering professional development, training or CPD.
• Experience of conducting observations, providing constructive feedback and supporting improvement plans.
• Experience of using data, learner feedback and quality information to identify development needs and evaluate impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of high-quality teaching, learning and assessment practice across ACT.
• Design and deliver impactful practitioner training, CPD, workshops and professional learning.
• Provide coaching, mentoring and developmental support to practitioners.
• Conduct developmental observations and provide constructive feedback and action planning.
• Use quality data and learner feedback to identify development needs and evaluate impact.
• Promote reflective practice and evidence-informed approaches to continuous professional development.
