Job summary

One Medical Group is seeking an experienced Practice Nurse for The Light Surgery in Leeds. This role covers long-term condition management, health promotion, immunisations, wound care and cervical cytology, with opportunities to contribute to safeguarding and quality governance.

A commitment to patient-centred care and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team is essential. The post offers 40 hours per week full-time or part-time options, with a salary of £17-£23 per hour dependent on

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration is required.
• Long-Term Condition Diploma is advantageous.
• Extensive experience as a Practice Nurse is essential.
• Experience delivering vaccination/immunisation programmes is desirable.
• Knowledge of NICE guidance, safeguarding and QOF is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide long-term condition management, health promotion and patient education.
• Deliver vaccinations/immunisations for adults, children and travel health if appropriate.
• Undertake cervical cytology consultations and women's health advice within scope.
• Perform wound care and triage patients with routine or urgent needs.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to governance and quality improvement.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide safe, patient-centred care.
