NHS Jobs is seeking a Practice Nurse to deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care across the East Surrey practice, adhering to NMC standards and local protocols.

The role involves nurse-led reviews for chronic conditions, cervical screening, immunisations, wound care, and preventive health checks. You will work with GP partners and the wider team, contributing to audits, CPD and development of nursing services.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering nurse-led reviews for long-term conditions (diabetes, asthma, COPD).
• Immunisations and vaccinations with appropriate training/authorisation.
• Wound assessment, dressings, and routine nursing procedures.
• Accurate clinical documentation and infection prevention.
• Saf safeguarding awareness and escalation.
• Teaching, supervision and mentorship responsibilities as appropriate.

Responsabilités

• Nurse-led reviews and support for long-term conditions.
• Cervical screening, immunisations and vaccinations within training.
• Wound assessment and routine nursing procedures.
• Preventative care, health checks, and lifestyle advice.
• Escalation of deterioration and safeguarding concerns.
• Accurate documentation and safe handling of medicines.
