Job summary

You will work alongside GPs, Lead Nurse, and healthcare assistants to deliver high-quality, person-centred care, including ECGs, vaccinations, wound management, and chronic disease reviews.

Qualifications

• NMC Registered Nurse with active registration.
• Evidence of relevant continuing professional development.
• Current training or competence appropriate to the clinical duties undertaken.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care including venepuncture, diagnostic tests (ECGs, cervical cytology), and specimen handling.
• Immunisations and vaccinations (adult, child, and travel).
• Wound care, dressings, and chronic disease management (diabetes, respiratory conditions, hypertension).
• New patient checks, health assessments, and opportunistic screening.
• Administer medicines and injections safely under the appropriate legal authority.
• Provide holistic, patient-centred assessments and signpost to promote health and well-being.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records in line with NMC guidelines.
• Ensure infection control, safeguarding, and health and safety standards.
