Job summary

Hattersley Group Practice, run by gtd healthcare, is seeking a part-time Practice Nurse to join a busy NHS primary care team serving a diverse patient population. You will assess, diagnose and manage care, with emphasis on long-term conditions and patient education.

The role requires RGN registration, primary care experience and cytology, immunisation and spirometry training. You will mentor junior staff, contribute to quality audits and support governance while delivering high standards of care

Qualifications

• RGN registration with current status.
• Experience in primary care settings.
• Training in cytology, immunisation and spirometry.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and contribute to quality audits.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat patients in primary and urgent care.
• Manage chronic diseases including asthma, diabetes, COPD, hypertension and CVD.
• Provide medication advice and safety information.
• Support patient education and health promotion.
